Installing 4-v point harness w/ no muzzle or what is a good route for seat belts?

Is information technology possible to install a iv-5 point harness without a roll cage? I will not be running the times for a roll bar but i demand new seats and have no belts so i figure i might aswell get something i can utilise when i will see the times required for a cage.

Just looking for communication, tips, opinions etc.

Edit: Well not sure what to do actually near seat belts. My car only came with lap belts and obviously i demand to upgrade so i dont know what route to actually go.

FYI - motorcar is a 66 satellite

In that location is a specific way they bear witness in the rulebook where the shoulder belts adhere to the cross bar. My guess would exist no but I would bank check with your local tech guys. In the end it's upwardly to them in virtually cases.

How would it be anything but safer than a lap/shoulder belt, (if you fifty-fifty have a shoulder chugalug)?

Any other way to put better 'belts in without a bar?

You are really not suppost to mount the shoulder belts out the back of the seat and down. Something to practise with if you crash it could hurt your back. This is why when you have a cage the shoulder straps go around the cross bar on the cage instead of down to the floor. I mounted mine out the back of the racing seats and downwards to the floor. Not the right way but I do not have a cage and I would have to think unless I flip/roll the car or in a frontal crash or side touch as long as the seat stays attached to the floor I would stay secure in the seat. Desire a cage eventually.

Will doing that pass tech at a track tho?

I know its not the proper way just i'm not going to install a muzzle just to run these. Otherwise i will just figure out a style to run the regular 3 point seat belts

Nope, sure won't laissez passer tech at a track.. The shoulder belts must mountain level with to no more than 4" beneath your shoulders to laissez passer tech and actually to be safe.

With the shoulder belts mounted to the flooring, in a crash wait at whats going to take place.. The belts pulls on yous from way downward in the floor. That can compress your spine

Depends.....

....I've been to plenty of tracks that will pass a 4-5 indicate seat belt without a cage.

I've also seen plenty of racers running without a cage and 4-5 point seat belts.

I'm non getting into any arguments about safe, merely what I have seen pass at both drag strips and route courses.

Were those just bolted to the floor or did they have some other setup?

Can you say "spinal compression" ? Your good to 11.50 with a lap belt only. If you are going faster than that- - - PUT A CAGE IN It !
